I am raising funds for my brother, Samuel James Wood, after Sam passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday 9/8/26, leaving behind his loving wife, Kyrsten, their beautiful 6-year-old daughter, Everly, and their sweet 3-year-old son, Barret. Our family is heartbroken, and I want to do what I can to support the people Sam loved most. 
 
 
 Sam was a devoted husband, an incredible father, and a steady source of love, humor, and strength for everyone who knew him. In the months before his passing, Sam had been out of work due to an unconfirmed medical condition. He was on the mend and hopeful about returning to work, but his sudden passing has left his family facing not only overwhelming grief, but also significant financial strain. 
 
 
 With one income gone and unexpected expenses piling up, Kyrsten is doing everything she can to keep life stable for Everly and Barret as they navigate this unimaginable loss. This fundraiser will help cover funeral and memorial costs, immediate living expenses, childcare, household needs, and other financial burdens as the family adjusts to life without Sam. Support can also help provide longer-term stability for Kyrsten, Everly, and Barret in the months ahead.
