Support Safer Education for Tusoleke Trust School Kids

We are Mori to Doubutsu.
We work as Roots & Shoots, a youth volunteer initiative founded by world-renowned zoologist Jane Goodalle.
We are reaching out to you with a heartfelt request to support Tusoleke Trust School in Livingstone, Zambia.
This summer, We traveled to Zambia in Southern Africa. We visited Muke village and learned about the living environment and education there. One of the most interesting experiences was going to Tusoleke Trust School, consisting of three teachers in total, 26 kids in the baby class, 31 kids in the kindergarten class, and 25 kids in the first grade class. Now, second graders to ninth graders walk to their school which is located in a different village. While walking to the school, because the school is so far away from their village, some kids were attacked by an elephant; recently, the kids met four lions, which are both extremely imperilous . Their goal right now is to make classrooms for them in order to make it safer for second to ninth grade kids. However, the residents are in need of support from others to build the roof for the new classrooms. We were very shocked that same-aged kids have been facing such a difficult issue and have decided to support their lives , and we started a fundraiser for these kids.
We and the school principal, Alex, have made a pledge to plant one tree in the village for $300 donated.
This will help support our efforts in environmental conservation and animal protection.

私たちは世界的に有名な動物学者、Jane Goodalleさんが発足した若者向けボランティア活動であるRoots & Shootsとして活動しています。
こちらのファンドレイジングではザンビア共和国のリビングストーンにあるTusoleke Trust Schoolへのあたたかいご支援をお願いしています。
今年の夏に旅行でザンビアのMuke村を訪れ、現地の人々の生活環境や子供たちの教育についてを学びました。
村にあるTusoleld Trust Schoolは特に印象的でした。
その学校は現在先生は3人、生徒はベビークラスに26人、幼稚園に31人、1年生に25人通っています。
2年生から9年生の子供達は隣の村の学校に歩いて通っています。
何人かの生徒は通学路を歩いている時にゾウに攻撃されて怪我をしてしまいました。
先日は、4匹のライオンに遭遇しました。
すごく恐ろしいことです。
子供達が安全に学校で勉強が出来るように、2年生から9年生までの子向けの学校の建設を目標としています。
いくつかの建設途中の建物は屋根がまだない状態です。
また、小さな子クラスでも教材や備品なども十分ではありません。
自分達と同じくらいの子供達の現状を知り、少しでも彼らの助けになればと思いこのファンドレイジングを立ち上げました。
私たちと学校長のアレックスは寄付金300ドルで1本村に木を植える約束をしました。
これは私たちの活動の一つである環境保護や動物保護に役立ちます。
