<div>Sadie’s been through so much already. She was found alone on a Texas roadside, saved by her kind fosters and taken into our rescue, but now facing two major knee surgeries. She just needs our help to get there!

<div>Sadie has been fully vaccinated, tested heartworm negative, recently spayed…. and ready to find her forever home!

<div><strong>Sadie’s Surgery Story</strong>

<div>Yesterday morning, our Rescue Director Melissa drove all the way to Oklahoma to what we thought would be Sadie’s surgery day at an affordable vet clinic that seemed too good to be true. And it was. Sadly, after arriving, we learned the clinic no longer performs TPLO surgeries. Since they’re a walk-in clinic, there was no way to know beforehand.

<div>Melissa called me heartbroken, our team has been working tirelessly to make this surgery possible for Sadie. Most vets in the Dallas area are far out of our budget now, and it would wipe out every dollar we have and still not be enough.
</div>

</div>
<div>For now, we’re continuing Sadie’s pain medications and focusing on fundraising until we can make her surgeries possible. We got this, Sadie girl!
</div>

</div>
<div>Because of her medical needs, our rescue’s intake is temporarily closed. We currently have 8 animals in our care who still need homes, and we’re doing our best to balance their needs while raising funds for Sadie’s surgeries and recovery. She will have one knee done at a time per vet recommendation.
</div>

</div>
<div>After making some calls yesterday for quotes, she will be having her surgeries done at Treasured Pets Veterinary Hospital and the estimate is almost $6k total for <strong>both</strong> knees. 
</div>
