Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and hopeful spirit. My sweet dog, Sadie Mae, recently underwent emergency back surgery after being diagnosed with IVDD. This hit us completely out of nowhere. One day she was her usual, happy self, and the next, she was in pain and losing mobility.

The surgery was absolutely necessary to give her the best chance at walking and living a comfortable life again. While she is covered under pet insurance, her annual limit is far below the total cost of surgery, overnight hospital stays, and the care she’s received so far. On top of that, we still have a long road ahead with physical therapy, medications, and any unexpected needs as she recovers.

Sadie Mae is my family. She’s my snuggler, shadow, and source of daily smiles. I’m doing everything I can to give her the best recovery possible.
