<div>Ryder was shot in the groin. The main artery in the groin was severed 90 percent. Ryder was life flighted out of park rapids. They gave him all the blood they had. When he arrived at Sanford Fargo they gave multiple units of blood to keep him alive and try to get him stable enough to take to surgery to try to repair the artery. After a 5 hour surgery he was headed to ICU. Was in ICU  for a very short time before he had to go back to the OR. Ryders leg had developed compartment syndrome and if that wasn't dealt with he would loose his leg. Ryders leg had not had blood Flow to it for over 4 hours. We are so very thankful Ryder is still will us. Since the first day at Sanford and the first two surgeries. Ryder has had 2 more surgeries and multiple procedures. He is on dialysis every other day, as the trauma caused from this has put his kidneys in levels that do don't measure on the charts.

<div> Ryder will have multiple more surgery before this is finished. They have not even started the orthopedic side of this. To remove bullet fragments and repair the broken bones.
