<div>I’m reaching out to you during the most challenging time in our lives. As you know, <strong>Ryan a heart transplant recipient (20111) was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2021</strong>. Since his diagnosis, he’s undergone multiple surgeries and endured several rounds of chemotherapy. Recently, he was being treated for spots on his lungs; unfortunately, his latest PET showed the disease has metastasized and has spread to his liver. While we’ve been fighting this battle with everything we have, the current treatment options are limited, come with life-threatening side effects, and only increase his life expectancy by a few months.

<div>We’ve discovered alternative treatments that offer hope, but these are not covered by insurance. These treatments take a holistic approach, treating the person, not just the disease, and represent Ryan’s best chance of survival, extending his life and improving his quality of living. Unfortunately, the costs are overwhelming, and we cannot cover them alone.

<div>This is why we are turning to our community for support. <strong>With your help, we can access these treatments that could give us more precious time together, and the opportunity for Ryan to continue fighting for his life.</strong>
