Rusty is a transgender man fundraising for FTM top surgery. He began questioning his gender in childhood, and realized he was transgender at the age of 12 and a year later was forced to come out to his thankfully accepting mom and nearly forced to come out to other less accepting family members.

Rusty slowly began presenting more masculine, eventually being gifted a binder by a friend in early high school and came out publicly in 2022 during his senior year. He has been living publicly as a man since then and sought medical transition.

While he has been approved for top surgery, a portion of the surgery cost was denied by his insurance company.

The goal of $2,375 covers surgery, a recovery vest, and scar tape.
