Hello all, my name is Ruselis Perry. I have been a martial artist, acrobat and performer for over 35 years. Through these years I have been coaching and performing for kids which has been such an important part of my life. I feel it would be foolishly to lose that part of myself.

Entertaining and bringing joy to others has always been something that has given me purpose. A few years ago, I saw one of my friends dressed up like Captain America. He would go to Children's hospitals and bring smiles to the face of the children battling illnesses. I thought to myself, "I would love to do that.". I wanted to get a Black Panther costume. However with my current position in law enforcement, I let that desire fade away.

However, I recently saw a video of people dressed up as superheroes and visiting healing kids at Children's hospitals, which has reignited the spark. A short time later, I saw a post about the late Chadwick Boseman also visiting Children's hospitals while he was battling cancer. If he could do that while battling cancer, what excuse do I have? This has been on my heart for years.

Tomorrow is not promised to any of us. It is time to make this happen. However, as a working father of 5, I need to be wise. I need help in accomplishing this reality. I refuse to buy a cheaply made suit. And all of the highest quality suits are approximately $600 USD (post tax and with mask and boots included).

While not serving the Children's hospital community, I intend on using this suit to perform at paid birthday gigs as a rented character.
