Rudy Martinez is the most generous, thoughtful, caring, fun-loving person with the biggest heart and sense of humor to match! He's the most wonderful husband, father, son, uncle, cousin, friend who always puts others needs before his own. But today, he needs our help!
What Happened? On Saturday, April 21st, Rudy suffered a severe brain injury while falling over 15 feet off a ladder on the job. The depth of the fall and the fact that the trauma is localized to the brain, has Rudy sedated while the swelling reduces. At this time, we do not have much information as to the extent of damage suffered or the length of time for recovery, and we are taking it day by day.
How can you help? Aside from continued emotional support, Rudy and his family could greatly benefit from financial support to lessen this already stressful and overwhelming time in their lives.Please also feel free to leave your well wishes and prayers for our uncle and friend, Rudy.
How will the funds be used? Rudy is the primary provider for his family and from what we understand to date, he's expected to be unable to work for a minimum of 12-24 months. We are greatly appreciative of any donations made, and all proceeds will go directly to his wife, Sarah Martinez and will be used for Rudy's medical expenses, and the financial support of Sarah and their four children Nikolas (9), Liliana (6), Christian (16) and Joshua (24).
Who are we? Cynthia Silva Garibay, Abby Silva and Enrique Silva - Rudy's nieces and nephew in Seattle. Rudy is our mother's younger brother and we've spent our whole lives together, sharing many beautiful memories, from birthdays to family vacations.

Rudy Martinez es la persona mas generosa, bondadosa y divertida que puedes conocer. Es el mejor esposo, padre, hijo, tio, pero sobre todo el mejor amigo. Siempre esta pensando en las necesidades de los demas antes que las propias. Pero hoy necesita nuestra ayuda!!
Que paso? El pasado Sabado 21, Rudy sufrio un trauma cerebral al caerse de una escalera de trabajo de mas de 5 metros de altura. Debido a la altura y el riesgo de la caida, los doctores han tenido que sedar a Rudy hasta que la inflamacion en su cerebro disminuya. Por el momento estos son los unicos detalles que conocemos; lo unico que podemos hacer es esperar y orar hasta conocer los resultados y/o posibles consecuencias.
Como puede ayudar? Ademas de todo su apoyo emocional y todas sus oraciones, cualquier tipo de donacion monetaria sera bien recibida y agradecida por su familia.
