My rescue baby girl Ruby started getting sick Thursday 10/31 and has been to her vet on Thurs, Fri, and Saturday. Sunday she had to be brought to the ER after vomiting blood and having black tarry stools. Blood work and X-rays before Sunday were unremarkable. She has been placed on many meds for nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. The ER vet gave another anti- nausea shot and some fluids but really recommends an ultrasound to find out what is going on inside and hospitalization as clearly outpatient therapy isn’t working. Unfortunately I’ve exhausted all my options monetarily for her care and really need help to give her the best care she deserves.
costs through her regular vet have equaled 1400$, can provide receipts. Visit at ER for minimal outpatient care is quoted around $300; however, she really needs an ultrasound to see what’s going on ($700) and they recommend hospitalization ($1000-1500) overnight to watch her since she hasn’t improved all at outpatient
This girl joined me 3 years ago when she was just a year old and has become a mommas girl. She has saved me more than I’ve saved her and I will stop at nothing to give her what she needs. From the bottom of my heart I truly thank anyone who donates anything at all.
