<div>We have set up this page on behalf of Ted and Grace Oliver while they are navigating a diagnosis of their youngest child. Ruby is a vivacious 4-year-old girl who has recently been diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). Ruby's journey began unexpectedly after she experienced a few days of intermittent fever and sudden, debilitating leg pain the first weekend in July, leading to a diagnosis only a few days later that has turned their world upside down.

<div>Ruby has two older siblings, Zeke and Jane, who are staying with their grandparents as Ruby undergoes treatment. Her initial stay at Cincinnati Children’s is likely to last several weeks. Grace homeschools Zeke and Jane, so the separation has been confusing and emotional for all of the kids. Ted, as the sole financial provider for the family, is doing his best to balance work with being present with Grace, Ruby, Zeke and Jane. They are all stretched thin and leaning on the generosity of family and friends who have rallied around them.

<div>Ruby adores the Mario movie and dreams of being as strong and brave as Princess Peach. Ruby's treatment plan, however, is daunting, likely stretching over several years with intensive chemotherapy, frequent hospital visits, and ongoing medical care. While she began treatment quickly, her doctors are diligently adjusting her therapy to give her the best possible chance at beating this disease. We anticipate there will be additional twists and turns ahead as we strive toward recovery.
