Hello, my name is Larissa. I’m a mother of soon-to-be 4 children. My husband, Ruben, was in a terrible accident; he was hit by a freight train and shattered his femur bone. He has been hospitalized since 12/13/24. He has had 5 surgeries so far to repair his injuries and 2 blood transfusions.

He’s needing one more surgery and needing to be transferred to an inpatient rehabilitation center to learn to walk again. Our family is needing help to get these services for him and some of his medical bills covered. We are truly grateful for any help that is provided. We thank God every day for allowing him to be with his family. We continue to pray as a family for a good recovery that’ll help him get back to his kids.
