<div>Rosalva Rosales de Vesco has faced hard trials throughout her life. She became a widow at 34, and with hard work and commitment, she raised two small children on her own, a boy, 10 and a girl of 7. Soon thereafter, her business went bankrupt, and the sudden death of her son left her devastated, and she fell into a deep depression that affected her health. But even so, she kept on for the love of her daughter and granddaughter as her purpose in life.

<div>This past December, she had a very serious accident, falling down the stairs from her second story.

<div>She was found on the ground, unconscious, with severe head and back injuries. Since then, she’s gotten worse. She has cervical medullar compression that affects her mobility: she’s lost strength and control of her arms and hands, her balance, living in excruciating constant pain.

<div>The life she knew, has changed completely.

<div>But there is still hope.

<div>A Good Samaritan has helped her get assessed by Dr. Azmitia, a well-recognized specialist in these types of cases, and aware of the urgency of this situation, and the financial aspect, offered to do the surgery without charging his fees. The surgery will be a Posterior Cervical Fixation, that must be done in the intensive care unit that will take up to 9 hours, with a recovery of at least a week in the hospital.

<div>We need to collect $25,000 USD to cover hospitalization, the Operating room, anesthesia, medicines, and all the necessary surgical material (screws, fixers, etc.). It’s a lot, yes. But with everyone’s help we can do it, with whatever you can, we’ll make it!!

<div>We want to give Rosalva hope, the mobility, the possibility to again hug, walk, write. Also, helping her is a way to remind her she’s not alone, that the love she planted, comes back.
