<div>We are raising funds for Rosa Maria del Rosario Duran Avila to assist in her recent medical costs. On October 22, 2024, Rosa had a severe seizure, brought on by epilepsy. During the seizure, Rosa fell and hit her head rendering her unconscious. This fall resulted in her head being cut open, and her having to get immediate emergency medical attention. There she received staples in her head, and new medications to help regulate her seizures. She will also have to see a neurologist for further examination and care.

<div>Rosa has been in the process of becoming a U.S Citizen for a while. As most of us know, this process can be difficult and far too lengthy, and during this time people are not eligible for health insurance. Without the aid of health insurance, Rosa’s medical bills are too high for her and her family to manage without assistance due to a broken system. This is where we need the help of all of you!

<div>Estamos recaudando fondos para Rosa María del Rosario Durán Ávila para ayudarla con sus recientes gastos médicos. El 22 de octubre de 2024, Rosa sufrió una convulsión grave, provocada por la epilepsia. Durante la convulsión, Rosa se cayó y se golpeó la cabeza, dejándola inconsciente. Esta caída provocó que le abrieran la cabeza y tuviera que recibir atención médica de emergencia de inmediato. Allí recibió grapas en la cabeza y nuevos medicamentos para ayudar a regular sus convulsiones. También tendrá que ver a un neurólogo para que la examine y le brinde atención adicional.
