About a week ago, my father, Ronald Otiniano, went to the hospital because of a low appetite and frequent dizziness. While there, he collapsed and was rushed to the ICU, where doctors discovered his hemoglobin levels were critically low. After several days in intensive care, he was stabilized and moved to a regular hospital room, where our family could visit and support him.

 After running tests, the doctors found a malignant stomach tumor—stomach cancer. Ronald is now stable but remains in the hospital, awaiting further evaluation to determine the next steps, which may include chemotherapy or gastric surgery. Just yesterday, an MRI revealed two small spots in his liver, and the doctors are running more tests to see if this is related to the tumor or will affect his treatment plan.

 I am currently in Peru with my dad and family, supporting him through this difficult time. This fundraiser is to help cover the costs of his hospitalization, surgery, and treatment so he can have the best chance at a full recovery. Any support is greatly appreciated to ensure Ronald receives the best treatment and recovery possible.
