<div>I am reaching out on the behalf of my dear friend, Rola Tahrawi, who has been battling serious health issues and is in urgent need of financial support. Rola and I were friends in college and have sporadically kept in touch. Over the years, we have shared major life events with one another -- our careers, marriage, motherhood and more. Unfortunately, I recently learned that Rola has been silently suffering from a medical condition that has devastated her well-being and left her hospitalized for many months.

<div>Rola has lost all ability to move, speak, or even eat on her own. She has become fully paralyzed and requires the use of a feeding tube to eat and a ventilator to breathe. What once were simple daily tasks are now impossible without constant, round-the-clock care. She no longer has a source of income and relies entirely on her mother for full-time caregiving. Her family is doing everything they can to support her, but the emotional and financial toll is overwhelming. The costs of specialized medical equipment, in-home nursing, and essential care far exceed what insurance will cover.
