Robin Rugh has always been the first to step up when someone is in need. For years, she’s donated her time and energy to help others, raising funds for causes like the Courage Classic and Fred Hutch Medical Center’s Obliteride. She’s the friend who will drop everything to be by your side, and her kindness and spirited personality have touched countless lives in the Puyallup and Federal Way communities, where she grew up and graduated from Rogers High School in 1985.

 Now, Robin is facing her own battle. She’s being treated for cancer and a serious autoimmune disorder, which has made her journey even more challenging. After just one round of chemotherapy, complications from her autoimmune disorder forced her back into the hospital, delaying further treatment. Robin is currently being fed through a tube, struggles with pain and swelling, and needs help with daily activities like getting to the bathroom. Despite having insurance, the costs of her prescriptions and home health care are overwhelming and not fully covered.

 This fundraiser is a chance for all of us to give back to Robin, just as she’s given so much to others. Every contribution will help cover the cost of her medications and the home care she needs to focus on healing. Supporting Robin now is a way to show that kindness comes full circle.
