Dear Family and Friends,

I wanted to take a moment to update you on Robert’s health journey, especially for those who may not be aware of what’s been going on. Back in June of 2022, he was diagnosed with stage 5 kidney disease. There was test after test and medicine after medicine. Not to mention the agony of dialysis and all the sleepless and uncomfortable nights. But unfortunately, all of that did not have the intended effect and this disease has gotten worse causing unrepairable damage. His only treatment option as of now is a kidney transplant.

While this journey has been filled with challenges, Robert has been fortunate enough to continue working. That being said, his condition and limitations have led him to take significantly more days off so he can prioritize his health.

The silver lining in all of this is that on February 11, 2025, he will be receiving a live donor transplant through the grace of god and a very selfless donor. Although this is great news, it does come with significant financial burdens. To help cover the costs of surgery, recovery, and other related expenses, I’ve set up this account for him. Any support you can provide would mean the world to him and his family. Every contribution no matter how small, helps tremendously. And even if you are not able to help at this time, prayers are always appreciated. This is going to be a long and uncertain road for Robert and not even going to lie…its super scary. But he understands that undergoing a transplant is crucial for him so that he can live a longer life for his wife and children.
