Help Me Get My Truck Back on the Road

Hello, my name is Robert Day, and I am 76 years old, living on SSDI disability. My truck, which I depend on for doctor and hospital visits, has broken down. I live 14 miles away from the nearest town at the end of a dirt road in a very remote area, so having reliable transportation is essential for me.

Currently, my truck is at the Kramer Dodge dealership in Livingston, Texas, and the repairs are extensive. Here’s a breakdown of the costs:

- Engine repair: $5,500 

- AC repair: $1,900 

- Water pump replacement: $600 

The total comes to about $8,000.

Thankfully, my aftermarket warranty company, Endurance, has agreed to cover $4,250. However, I am still responsible for the remaining $3,800, which I simply cannot afford on my fixed income.
