Robert "Big Rob" Gillespie is a single dad who has been battling cancer since 2012, when he was diagnosed with a very rare leukemia. Unfortunately, there is no cure for this very rare form of leukemia and Rob has been placed into hospice care. As many of you know, Rob’s cancer fight exhausted all of his resources and he has been dependent on friends, family, his D.C. United Community and other to help pay for his medical treatment and living expenses. Rob is known for his passion for D.C. United and La Barra Brava. However, that passion pales in comparison to the love he has for his son Marco. Please donate to help provide for Marco’s future. 100% of the funds raised will go to Marco and/or his guardians on his behalf.
