<div>Hi everyone. As many of you know, I am being forced out of my home of 12.5 years due to the house being sold. This is happening during the most vulnerable time of my life. I am battling cancer and will be undergoing Proton therapy radiation treatment. I have been told it can last up to 4 months. I will need to commute back and forth to the city 5 days a week for 1 hour treatments during that span. On top of that I have to move during the most expensive time of the year for rentals. After much deliberation and hesitation I have concluded that I am in a situation where I cant do it alone and need help to bridge the gap. I want to stay in Long Beach, I want to continue to contribute to this great city by the sea as I have for 50 years now, however I need some assistance. Some if not many of you know my story...my mother passing at the age of 49 after a long bout with cancer, my Linda passing away suddenly, and me fighting alcoholism in my 20's. And now all of this. I still continue to stay positive, continue to help others as my mom and Linda have.

<div>I know times are tough for a lot of people right now and asking for help is one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. I have always been the lender, not the borrower and that makes this even more difficult. But I believe in community, and in that possibility that with some help things will get better.
