<div>We have an incredible group of black belt candidates who, in the process of their 12-week test for black belt, are working with our school's nonprofit, Friends of PAMA, to raise money for the Rocky Mountain Down Syndrome Association (RMDSA). Part of being a martial artist is working to make the world a better and more peaceful place, and they are contributing to that mission this cycle by raising acceptance and awareness for our loved ones with Down Syndrome . "The Rocky Mountain Down syndrome Association is a nonprofit founded in 1981 to provide support, resources, outreach and programming to more than 1,500 individuals with Down syndrome and their families across the Rocky Mountain region" You can join them in making a difference by donating, sharing our GoFundMe page, or joining us at the RMDSA walk on Sunday September 28th at 7am (event held atDenver City Park). Everyone, all ranks and ages, are welcome to come join us to show their support!

<div>ABOUT OUR NONPROFIT: Friends of PAMA is the official 501c3 nonprofit of PAMA, UMAC, and KICKS, founded to make a difference in our community and support causes that are important to our KICKSRUS family. We believe wholeheartedly that being a martial artist means continually working to be the best version of yourself and working to make the world a better place for those around you in every way you can! In addition to helping provide self-defense and martial arts training to those in our community who need it most, Friends of PAMA have donated thousands of dollars to several other important causes in our community too.

<div>Just to name a few, Friends of PAMA has donated to the local food banks, the Children's Hospital, the battered women's shelter, ALS Association, the American Cancer Society, the Rocky Mountain Down Syndrome Associations, provided clothing and food to homeless shelters, raised money to build schools in Bandouga, Africa, and done work for suicide prevention and work to end bullying!
