My name is Rishi Polkampalli, and I am beginning my Eagle Scout Project. Preservation Parks is dedicated to conservation and sustainability, and my project supports that mission by building 24 wooden brochure boxes for the parks. We are making the boxes out of wood because it is more durable and a better alternative to plastic boxes, which need frequent replacing and are harmful to the environment. By choosing wood, we are reducing plastic waste, minimizing the need for constant replacement, and creating a longer-lasting, eco-friendly solution for the parks and their visitors.
