Support Rick Anderson's Battle with Cancer

Dear Family, Friends, and Community—

Those who know Rick Anderson would describe him as a humble, dedicated, hardworking, and loving individual. He has been known for always being there for those in need and supporting others where and when possible.

Sadly, over the past few years, he has been faced with numerous medical challenges, including three major spinal surgeries and, most recently, a diagnosis of throat cancer for which he is currently enduring a five-day per week radiation and chemotherapy treatment program that spans over the course of two months.

Having suffered with chronic back issues for decades while remaining devoted to running his contracting business to support his family, Rick has been essentially sidelined from being able to effectively work now for about two years and is facing insurmountable medical bills given his most recent diagnosis.

Such challenges no one should have to face. Their effects can be long-lasting and an unavoidable determinant of a family’s ability to make ends meet. As an extremely humble yet proud person, Rick initially felt awkward with the thought of creating this fundraising effort but, now feeling the devastating physical effects, as well as the mounting costs, of the treatments, is so extremely thankful for the emotional and financial support.
