<div>Friends and Family, Rick and I have hit a financial brick wall. I've been out of work for over a month, and for that entire month, Rick has been sick. He's started out with flu like symptoms, but FIVE COVID/flu tests were all negative. And he got progressively worse. 1 trip to urgent care and THREE trips to the ER later, a mass was found in his liver. He's been in the hospital for a week now, and he's going to be sent home on IV antibiotics and pain medication. On Monday, 10/13/2025, his GI doctor ordered an ultrasound guided biopsy, and what was aspirated was pus. It was determined that it is an abcess, and it is quite large. He's got a drain in his liver to drain the pus. The problem now is that we're both out of work right now. It's unknown when, or IF, he'll be able to return to work. We are about to get inundated with medical bills, and we have no money coming in to pay our regular bills. Rick and I hate to ask for help, but I made the decision to do so. He doesn't know yet, but I'd love to give him the wonderful news that our friends and family helped us to stay afloat. I know money is tight for A LOT of people, but I'm asking for anything you can give, and I'll be forever grateful. We've never had to do this before, and my hope is that we'll NEVER have to do this again. I know Rick is so very loved by ALL of our friends and family.
