<div>I’ve set up this GoFundMe to support Richard as he faces a recurrence of stage 4 cancer.

<div>In 2023, Richard went through a year of surgery, chemotherapy, and recovery for stage 4 colon cancer. Sadly, just six months after finishing initial treatment, Richard started to experience symptoms that suggested things were not all well, and later was diagnosed with a recurrence of Stage 4 cancer, which had spread further.

<div>Since early 2025, he’s been undergoing an aggressive treatment plan, having just completed 10 cycles of chemotherapy with radiation therapy and major surgery ahead in the coming months. 
</div>

<div>Treatment has been very challenging so far, and while Richard is staying focused and positive, the next steps are daunting.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Many of you know Richard either personally, through his work in animation, or his teaching through his YouTube channel.
</div>
<div>He’s the love of my life, a wonderful dad to our three kids, and someone who has given so much to his community.
</div>

</div>
<div>Treatment has made it impossible for Richard to keep working, so his YouTube channel is on pause. This fundraiser will help ease financial stress and allow us to focus on his treatment and recovery.
