<div>Two of the most amazing people I know are moving from Terlingua back to East Texas. I know I am not alone in saying that this couple has made a very positive impact on my life. I got to know Richard first, as he was serving and protecting our community. All of Terlingua could count on him as a Deputy, keeping us all safe. He stopped by the High Sierra frequently just to make sure everything was ok. He is the kind of Deputy all small towns are beyond lucky to have watching their back. Richard is my friend and I know that I can always count on him, whether he is 5 min away or a plane flight away! Then…..there is Jen! Words can’t describe how amazing she is! She became a friend. She is the kind of friend you make instantly and know that she will just always be there to support you anytime day or night….and if years pass, will still be the same…a true friend. I have a few of these. They say that in a lifetime if you have a few of these friends, you are very lucky. I wish that Richard and Jen weren’t moving, but it is what is best for them right now.

<div>My friends are starting a battle. Jen has some unresolved health issues and has been given mixed results meaning that she has to now start back at square one. As very frustrating as this is, it is exciting because she is on the path to recovery!

<div>Without going into detail, sometimes insurance is a pain and only goes so far. Beyond the need for insurance coverage comes other expenses that add up so high that it is scary. Then there is time away from work. It’s a lot for anyone. If there is a way we can help them right now, this is it. I’m asking as their friend to please join me and let’s send them on their way with a little financial help. Every little bit helps. People have already asked me how they can help, and here is the answer. Please share this link and ask your friends and loved ones to join in and help this amazing couple. Let’s send them off on this journey and set them up for success. The rest is in God’s hands. We love you Jen and Richard. You got this! Get ‘er done, then move back here so we all can be selfish and have you back to ourselves! The dance floor (Jen) and microphone (Richard) will be waiting for your return! Until then…I will prepare my liver.
