Reyes Salazar has faced more medical challenges than many experience in a lifetime. From a young age, he endured countless surgeries and hospital stays, yet through every obstacle he has remained gentle, caring, and incredibly resilient. His strength and ambition inspire everyone who knows him, and the grace with which he carries these hardships is something our family deeply admires. 
 
 
 Recently, Reyes was diagnosed with a recurrent cystic mass in his airway. While he is currently stable, the cyst poses a serious risk if it continues to grow, as it could eventually obstruct his breathing. Doctors have presented two options: draining the cyst or surgically removing it. Both come with significant costs—not only the procedure itself, but also hospital stays and related medical care. The uncertainty and urgency of his condition have weighed heavily on our family, especially as we had hoped that, at 36, Reyes would finally be free from frequent hospital visits. 
 
 
 Our family has always stood by Reyes through every surgery and recovery, but we cannot do this alone. Support from our community would mean the world—helping ease the financial burden so Reyes can focus fully on healing. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings him one step closer to receiving the care he needs and deserves. 
 
 
 Despite his medical challenges, Reyes is on track to graduate from Weber State University in April 2026 with his Bachelor’s Degree—an achievement he has worked tirelessly for. We want nothing more than to see him continue moving forward, healthy and strong, without being set back by health struggles yet again. Supporting Reyes now means giving a kind, ambitious, and loving soul the chance to live the life he has fought so hard to build.
