However her world has been forever changed. On June 17 my mom, she was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. On July 16, she underwent a double mastectomy to remove the tumor. Unfortunately, her journey is not done yet. She is set to start chemo in the next couple of weeks. She will continue to receive treatment throughout the next couple of months.
