Hi, my name is Hailey and I’m desperately trying to save my dog, Raya, after she was shot with a .38 caliber bullet. The bullet went through her shoulder and shattered her humerus bone, leaving fragments throughout her leg. She is in a lot of pain, but she’s stable for now and staying overnight at the emergency vet on medication.
Raya isn’t just my dog — she’s my best friend, my protector, and a huge part of my life. She’s been with me through so much, and I can’t imagine life without her.
We just found out that Raya is going to need specialized surgery to repair her leg. The cost is expected to be well over $5,000, and I’ve been told that if I can’t come up with the money soon, euthanasia may be the only option. That’s not something I can accept without fighting for her first.
