Hi everyone! I am so embarrassed to even be making this. I am not good at asking for help. I feel completely defeated at this point and have no other choice but to turn to others. I have been laid off since 12/2/2024. It has been so difficult to find another job. I run this rescue on my own income because donations never come. I’m fine with it…..it is what it is and normally I’m financially strong enough to do it by myself. Right now, though, I am not doing well at all. Veterinary costs are just killing me to the point where I’ve had to stop doing intakes. I can’t afford to put to sleep two little girls that need it and my vet is cash only. The constant need for food and other supplies for the rescue looms so large and I just can’t do it anymore. I need help and I’m hoping that my fellow rat lover communities will be able to relate to my situation and lend a helping hand.
