<div>Hi, my name is Randy Millis. I’m an independent journalist, advocate, and longtime Kelowna resident currently living in an emergency shelter while working to rebuild stable housing.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After losing my home, I began documenting my experience through Personal Dispatches, an ongoing documentary project chronicling homelessness, disability, accessibility, housing, and life in Kelowna from the perspective of someone living it every day.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Although I am currently homeless, my BC Supreme Court judicial review remains active and is still awaiting scheduling. The legal process continues, but my day-to-day reality has shifted from emergency court applications to rebuilding my life while continuing to document it.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I’m actively searching for permanent housing, including rental opportunities and an RV pad that would allow me to move out of the shelter.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Donations help me continue rebuilding my life and producing Personal Dispatches. They help cover expenses such as:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>• securing stable housing
</div>
<div>• storage and transportation
</div>
<div>• food and daily necessities
</div>
<div>• keeping my phone, computer, and internet operating
</div>
<div>• website hosting, software, and reporting equipment for Personal Dispatches
</div>
<div>• continuing to report, write, photograph, and advocate from lived experience
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you’ve found value in Personal Dispatches or my community work, thank you for considering supporting this project. Every contribution helps me continue documenting these issues while working toward stable housing again.
