I started this GoFundMe on behalf of my longtime friend and coworker, Randy Grove. He recently lost his father, John Grove Sr. As we all know, times are extremely hard right now, and I am trying to help my friend lay his father to rest with dignity without facing a huge financial burden right at the holidays. John Grove Sr. was a beloved father and grandfather, a retired City of Dayton employee, and a veteran of the United States Army who served over seas. All of the funds raised would be used to cover the cost of cremation, storage, and transportation fees. Any extra money raised would be used to help John’s granddaughters have the best Christmas possible given the sudden loss of their grandfather.
