Support Randa - Healing with Horses

FROM GRANT (Randa's husband)

Randa is an amazing person in so many ways.  That's why I married her.  But who she is and what she does with horses is incredible.

She has been a "horse girl" since she was 12 years old,  and always been a healer with horses.  She says she has been blessed with this work, but she has a strong desire to turn her full attention to helping, healing and teaching others to be better people, through an authentic professional equine program.  The Master Herder Accellerated Apprenticeship offered by Eponaquest is one of the most recognized and respected training centers in the United States.

Randa's training will give her the knowledge, tools, and insight to bring people and horses together for personal growth, deep learning, leadership training, healing work with emotional trauma, addiction, and other issues.  Help Randa help others with her special understanding and bond with horses, and the training Eponaquest has to offer.

Eponaquest
"Eponaquest, LLC is a multi-disciplinary educational organization where humans, horses and other animals are supported in co-creating a new way of being, one that emphasizes authenticity, collaboration, and experimentation. The emphasis is on learning how to thrive rather than simply survive, expanding both human and animal consciousness/potential."

"Eponaquest considers the constant interplay of body, mind, spirit, and emotion, developing intuition, flexibility, and inter-subjective relationship skills to balance Western indoctrination in logic, rigid methodology, competitiveness and objectivity — ultimately bringing these opposites into an empowered balance. Conventional and unconventional theories on the nature of human and animal consciousness/behavior are investigated, challenged, and constantly updated through a process of experiential investigation…"

Cost
The cost of this program is well worth everything it has to offer, and will give Randa the ability to truly help so many kinds of people with what she loves the most - horses.  However, as you can see, it is an expensive endeavor.  Your support will help make this a possibility.

The expenses are as follows:

$6800 - Tuition for two ten day training intensives.
$962 - Air travel to training facility in Tucson for the two intensives.
$3446 - Living Expenses including housing, rental car, food.

$11208 - Total

The tuition is due before November 3, 2018, when the program begins.

Every contribution counts toward fulfilling this dream.  Please contribute today!

Thank you and best wishes,

Grant

FROM RANDA:

I have been so blessed to have been given the opportunity to work with horses most of my life. I have come to a point that its not about me anymore, and I want to give back. I want to show people the amazing healing power of horses to help not only the deeply wounded but also help anyone better understand themselves and the interpersonal relationships we all struggle with. This is a huge leap of faith for me, but I truly feel that this is where the Lord is leading me.

RANDA'S STORY

I grew up in the horse country of Chester County, Pennsylvania.  My relationship with horses started in First Grade with my friend’s pony, Snowy, and an OTTB (Off the Track Thoroughbred) named Exodus. I was hooked immediately. I didn’t have a horse of my own as I grew up, so I would ride anything, no matter size, color or temperament. I joined the local Pony Club in middle school, and continued throughout that time to ride whatever was offered to me. Not having my own horse in those early years turned out to be a blessing because it helped me to appreciate all horses and learn to communicate with each as individuals.
I have an extremely diverse background training horses. I have started and trained thoroughbreds, preparing them for their racing career, working for the top Steeplechase trainer, Johnathan Sheppard. I trained polo ponies that competed in 12 goal tournaments in the very competitive Palm Beach Polo Club in Wellington, Florida. In addition I have worked with combined driving horses, traveling to Europe with them to compete in the World Championships. Fox Hunting is another discipline with which I have many years of experience, training horses to hunt safely with children and adult amateurs at one of the most prestigious hunts in the country, Cheshire Hunt. Since I was introduced to dressage through pony club I loved dancing with the horse. I have worked with many upper level dressage riders and continue to strive to become a better dressage rider. But my real passion is eventing. I have been eventing most of my life. I have had and continue to have the privilege to ride and train with members of the U.S. Olympic team, Phillip Dutton, Boyd Martin, Steven Bradley and Jimmy Wolford. I also have had the privilege to work with Lucinda Green, the 6 time winner of Badminton Horse Trials and member of the British olympic team. With my long history and love for the OTTB, retraining them for eventing has become my specialty.  I have competed up to the Intermediate level, with an OTTB I started. He has taught me as much as I have taught him.  I feel there is always something new to learn from everyone, including horses, and take every opportunity I can to expand my knowledge.

I am turning my attention to giving back to others, through what I have learned and what I will learn through this special education.

We are deeply grateful to our loved ones, family, friends, horse lovers,  or people simply wanting to help others, who contribute to Randa's future with horses and healing.  Thank you for your help!
