Rachel Aflleje is the kind of friend who always puts others first. As a standup comedian, teacher, and devoted mom, she’s spent years lifting up those around her—encouraging dreams, offering support, and giving her all to her community. Now, after breaking her knee and being rushed to the hospital by ambulance, Rachel is facing a long and difficult recovery. She’s currently awaiting surgery, and the road ahead will mean missing work, canceling comedy shows, and taking time away from her students and family.
