Our friend Rachel was recently diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer. An aggressive form of breast cancer that requires equally aggressive treatment. Over the next 12 months, she will be undergoing intense chemotherapy followed by surgery and immunotherapy.

She's about two months into the treatment and is meeting the process with the same directness and good spirits that I have always loved about her. Chemo brings overwhelming brain fog and fatigue. I visited her recently, and she made going to chemo a fun and enriching experience, finding connection with her nurses and moments of light. I'm so proud of her and how she is handling this. This is going to be a long journey.

Rachel lives and works in Albuquerque while raising her amazing 7-year-old son, Bodhi. He is smart, kind, and so engaging. This fundraiser was created to help lift the weight and to support Rachel so she can focus all of her energy on healing and being present for her son. Every donation is appreciated and will go directly towards their mortgage and essential living expenses during treatment, allowing her time to rest, recover, and fight with everything she has.
