Support Quinten & Pluto's cycling adventures!

As some of you know I've had an unfortunate and expensive month/year. For some reason everything happened at the same time! I'm generally pretty self-reliant but this month/year is testing my ability to manage. I've already gone through most of my savings in the last challenging year.

As noted, my ebike was taken a few weeks ago. I was able to find a used replacement for a fair price however insurance if it pays out has a $1000 deductible which is quite a hit in addition to the need to replace the accessories and upgrade the locks etc. This is the commuter ebike that I managed to keep safe during the pandemic even working at the Novotel mega-homeless shelter downtown. It is also the bike that allows Quinten & Pluto to ride with me in the warmer months.

The theft happened when I had a work injury (ripped off a big toenail and fractured the toe) that caused me to lose time and money. This is an ongoing injury. This is actually the third injury I've had in 6 months and I've lost almost 2 months wages since January which I haven't received any compensation for yet.

In unfortunate timing, my Mac laptop also died just before this and had to be replaced. I've used macs since 1989. I don't function well on PCs so mac it is.

This month so far has cost me thousands however I'm hoping for a boost with the lost ebike. Quinten & Pluto would appreciate your help too if you are able. They like the ride to the park!
