Who we are

PyCon Senegambia is a community-driven conference run by volunteers from Senegal and The Gambia. The 2026 edition is co-organized by Python Senegambia, Google Developer Group (GDG) Dakar and GalsenAI. Our first edition in Banjul in 2025 was backed by around 16 sponsors and partners, and this year we're aiming even higher in Dakar.

Why we need your help

We want this event to be open to as many people as possible, especially students and young talent who rarely get access to opportunities like this. Your donation will help cover:

meals for attendees (breakfast, lunch, coffee breaks)

logistics and technical equipment (sound, video, screens, internet)

free or discounted tickets for students

travel for some speakers, especially from The Gambia

materials and goodies for participants

Our goal: $2000

Every contribution matters. Just $10 can cover a meal for one attendee.
