Welcome to the campaign for Project TLC - Vision in Motion, an experimental dance-driven music video and visual storytelling project centered around movement, vulnerability, and transformation.

The Vision

Hi! I’m Tristan Knapton, the creative director behind Project TLC. As a student creative passionate about dance, visual storytelling, and emotionally resonant media, I’ve always been drawn to the way movement can communicate the feelings we struggle to put into words.

Project TLC was born from a feeling many people experience but rarely articulate: the quiet exhaustion of living the same day over and over again. The pressure to stay productive, emotionally restrained, and disconnected from ourselves can slowly turn life into routine instead of experience.

This project explores what happens when creativity interrupts that cycle.

At its core, Project TLC is about rediscovering freedom through movement, community, and artistic expression. It’s about breaking out of emotional stillness and reconnecting with the parts of ourselves that feel alive.

The Story

Project TLC follows a man trapped in the monotony of a lifeless office routine. Day after day, he sits in the same cubicle surrounded by spreadsheets, fluorescent lighting, and silence. Time moves, but emotionally, nothing changes.

Everything shifts when he begins to hear music — subtle at first, then impossible to ignore. As he steps beyond the confines of the office, he enters an open environment filled with dancers, color, sunlight, and movement. Through choreography and visual expression, he experiences a complete emotional awakening.

The dancers eventually cover him in paint, symbolizing the dismantling of limitation and the rediscovery of identity. What begins as observation transforms into participation. He is no longer simply watching creativity happen around him — he becomes part of it.

Project TLC is ultimately about transformation: the moment someone chooses to stop surviving on autopilot and starts living fully, openly, and creatively again.

The Execution & Logistics

This project combines cinematic visuals, choreography, music, and abstract performance art to create a surreal yet emotionally accessible experience. Inspired by contemporary dance films, artist music videos, and atmospheric visual storytelling, the video relies heavily on movement-based performances and striking environmental imagery.

We are currently preparing for production with a team of student creatives, dancers, and collaborators who are passionate about bringing this vision to life. The visual identity of Project TLC reflects the brand’s core values: inspiration, connection, vulnerability, and creative movement. The goal is to create something that feels immersive, emotionally honest, and universally relatable.

The Budget

To fully realize the visual and choreographic scope of Project TLC, we are raising $550. Every contribution directly supports the creation of this project and helps provide resources for the artists and collaborators involved.

Production Design — $50

Creating the office environment, sourcing props, paint materials, and designing immersive visual elements that support the story’s transformation arc.

Wardrobe & Styling — $225

Costuming for dancers and talent, along with styling pieces that visually evolve alongside the emotional progression of the film.

Crew & Catering — $75

Supporting the dancers, crew members, and collaborators who are dedicating their time and energy to this production by helping cover meals and on-set necessities.

The Purpose

Project TLC is more than a music video. It is a reflection on creativity as a form of healing, movement as a form of connection, and vulnerability as a source of strength.

As someone passionate about creating work that resonates emotionally across different audiences, I want this project to remind people that art has the power to reconnect us with ourselves and with each other.

Whether through dance, music, visual storytelling, or simply shared emotion, Project TLC aims to create a space where people feel seen, inspired, and understood.

We are incredibly grateful for your support in helping bring this vision to life. Every donation, repost, and share helps push this project forward and supports a growing community of young creatives and dancers.

Thank you for believing in independent art, creative expression, and the power of movement.
