<div>If you don’t know me, my name is Dan Poirier. Phillip Paris has been like a brother to me since we first met at an industry conference over a decade ago. On February 26th, Phillip suffered a devastating heart attack that has left him in the ICU, fighting for his life. He has been on a ventilator and life support ever since, relying on an ECMO machine - the highest level of life support available. In the past weeks, he has endured numerous procedures, and now, a heart transplant is being considered as his best chance for survival. Though Phillip has not been able to communicate since this began, we know that he is fighting every single day, and we could not be prouder of him.
