<div>Anyone who knows my husband (Pete Savioli) knows that he would do anything for anyone. In most instances he has probably done something for you or helped you out before and refused to take money from you. He’s the most kind, caring  and compassionate man I know. Unfortunately in the last 3 months he has developed serious health problems, he has not been able to work and as the main provider for our family it is starting to affect our finances drastically. Back in May Pete went into the hospital with pneumonia and it went septic. They drained his lungs, gave him antibiotics, then he got MRCA from where they drained his lungs. He got out of the hospital and went back to work and everything was ok until July. The End of July he was taken back to the hospital and they removed 1500cc of fluid out of his lungs and realized that his blood platelets were low, so they gave him two platelet transfusions and released him from the hospital. Unfortunately  he would be admitted back into the hospital 4 days later. His lungs instantly filled back up with fluid and the drs removed 2350cc of fluid from his lungs 4 days after they removed 1500cc. His lungs continually fill with fluid, his blood platelets are very low, his hemoglobin continues to drop and almost a month later he is still in the hospital with no real answers. He has lots of tests scheduled while he is in here including a Petscan, a biopsy of his lymphnodes and a bone marrow biopsy. Unfortunately none of these tests can be done at this time because his platelet count is too low and the Drs are afraid he will bleed out during the procedures. Pete is a fighter and I know he will continue to fight through everything he is going through. He also has a such a strong faith and continues to through all of this to trust in God and believe that God will lead him through all of this. He is currently Anemic and is being tested for Lymphoma, Leukemia, and many other scary diseases. As this whole situation affects my husband and the most amazing father I’ve ever encountered, I have to put my pride aside and ask our friends, family and loved ones for help. First and foremost I am asking for everyone I know to pray like crazy for Pete and our family as I believe prayer is the strongest medicine on earth. Secondly we are asking for any financial help that any of our friends and family can offer. I’ve never asked anyone for money and never want to but I want Pete to be able to get the treatment he needs and not have to stress about money and bills. Anyone who knows Pete knows that he will go back to work tomorrow sick or not to provide for his family but this time things are serious and he cannot do that. He needs to continue to get testing and biopsies and hopefully soon the treatment he needs to overcome this. This is the biggest struggle we have ever faced as a family and Pete is such an inspiration to me and the kids, laughing and joking and always making sure we know how much he loves us. But I have to be honest I’m scared, I love this man with all my heart and soul and our children are truly obsessed with him. This is something I am not prepared for and honestly I’ll never be prepared for. The thought of losing the love of my life is the scariest thing I have ever faced. If you can help make this situation easier for our family whether it be with a prayer, a donation or even a story of how Pete has helped you in life at one time or another I am asking for your help. Our family needs all the love and support we can get right now, from the bottom of my heart. Thank you to everyone❤️
