On behalf of this inspired young soul, I am asking you to help bring a dream to reality.

Many times in our lives, we have a vision for a future that seems just out of reach, for Peregrine, I want to make sure he achieves great success on his pathway toward his goals and aspirations.

Almost 10 years ago I remember Pere told his mom that “ballet is for girls,” and she responded, by showing Pere a video of a Russian dancer named Sergei Polunin; dancing to the song Take me to Church by Hozier.

From that moment on, I’ve watched Pere grow, and overcome diversity, and I knew that someday Pere would be able to dance like the professionals. His passion is unyielding.

For months I remember thinking about Pere due to his comments at such a young age, not worrying about stereotypes and embracing his diveristy. I couldn’t help but to follow his journey.

His parents in the first grade, enrolled him into ballet. At the time Pere didn’t know what his future would hold, but soon he would be leaping over people’s heads switching from the soccer field to the ballet class room, leading to being cast in several local productions of the Nutcracker right here in Lake Havasu City.

A community watched, as a young boy became a young man, who fell in love with dance, providing a lifelong sense of belonging and enrichment for his passion for life.

In addition to dance and managing his school work Pere is an avid volunteer with Our Lady of the Lake, helping to live stream their weekly Masses, he sees the value at such a young age in supporting the church and others, as he also volunteers in the community with Boy Scouts and his school’s Interact Club.

Pere, is on a mission to excel beyond the stages of Lake Havasu City, with he has his heart set on attending the world renowned Idyllwild Performing Arts Academy High School, which is ranked #1 across all platforms for performance training on stage and academics.

It is a high school preparatory program, designed for young children with unyielding passions in the diversity of performing arts.

Pere for tuition, needs to raise just close to $7,000 after grants and scholarships, and I’ve told him I’d do everything in my power, to make sure we reach that goal.

As a performing arts major myself, I understand the value of courage, following your dreams and aspirations and rooting yourself in a craft, that focuses your life on purpose. How important it is to live an inspired life and to see that all things are possible to those who believe.
