My name is Paula Ludwig. I am a happily married 52 year old mother of four and Memaw of four. I have been teaching for the last 10 years. I am dealing with polycystic kidney disease stage four. This means I am in the beginnings of getting a transplant. With that comes many many medical bills and my health is making it impossible to continue teaching in person. I am working on trying to see if I can work remotely but even that is an issue due to the four different doctors I have to see once to twice a week. I am not asking for a hand out. Just a hand up until I can get my transplant

UPDATE:  finally heard from Mayo Clinic. My transplant assessment starts July 14.   Then continues July 21-23.
