Our beloved Stephanie Maraggos, devoted mother to Izabella, 12, Emilia, 3, and Eli, 19 months, and wife to Paul Komatz, was tragically taken from us far too soon. On Sunday, September 20, Stephanie was enjoying a beautiful afternoon riding her bicycle in her Aurora neighborhood when she was struck by a vehicle. In an instant, the lives of her family and friends were forever changed. Stephanie was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, family member, and friend. Her children were the center of her world, and her absence leaves an enormous void, especially for Izabella, Emilia, and Eli, who must now grow up without their mother.

This GoFundMe has been created to help support Paul and the children as they navigate the difficult days ahead and to give those who knew Stephanie an opportunity to help. We are asking for written stories from those who knew her to share with her children so they know who she is. Any contribution is deeply appreciated. If you are unable to contribute, sharing this page or sharing a memory of Stephanie would mean so much to our family. Thank you for your kindness and for helping us surround Paul, Izabella, Emilia, and Eli with care during this heartbreaking time.
