On Friday, December 13, Paul made a trip to the emergency room after having a few weeks of headaches, dizziness, and eventually vision loss. Upon arriving to the ER and having a head CT, it was revealed that Paul has a brain tumor in his frontal lobe. The neurosurgeon spoke with Paul and his wife Elyssa and scheduled him for surgery on Monday morning to remove part or all of the tumor. We won’t know more until after the surgery on Monday and the biopsy results come back. The neurosurgeon told Paul that he won’t be able to work for a minimum of three months, which means he and his family will be without his income for that time. While Paul has medical insurance, we all know that there are almost always additional unforeseen costs. As with any incredibly unfortunate news like this, we all know that life doesn’t stop. We’re setting this gofundme up to support Paul and Elyssa and their two beautiful children, Laney and Dawson, to help with medical costs as well as child care, monthly bills, and whatever else they need during this difficult time.
