We never imagined we would be starting a GoFundMe and asking for support for something as life changing as this. Our nephew, Patrick Moreau, is a 33-year-old husband to Janelle Moreau, and a father of two young children. He was recently diagnosed with Intrahepatic Cholangiocarcinoma (ICC), a bile duct cancer that develops inside the liver. For the last few years, Patrick had been receiving treatment for primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC) prior to this cancer diagnosis. This condition causes chronic inflammation and scaring in the bile duct, as well as an increased risk of developing ICC. This was the worst case, nightmarish scenario that has now come true. Over the next month, he is to undergo major surgery to remove 40% of his liver, removal of part of his small intestines, and treatment to address any remaining cancer cells. Patrick and his family will have to travel back and forth between home and Indianapolis, Indiana for this medical treatment. Donations to this fund will be used to help with his medical bills, childcare for his two children, and support for his wife. Please, donate what you can, and keep the Moreau family in your prayers.
