<div>On February 14th, our dad, Sengpheth “Pat” Manyrath, underwent emergency open-heart surgery after his aorta ruptured. We are incredibly lucky and grateful that he made it to the ER just in time and that the doctors were able to save his life
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>He spent the following weeks in the ICU, and unfortunately experienced additional complications that required a second emergency surgery. While we are thankful he is still with us, he now faces a very long and difficult road to recovery.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Over the coming months, he will need to rebuild his strength, work to regain his motor skills, and relearn basic daily activities such as walking and caring for himself. His recovery will involve continued hospital care, outpatient treatment, and extensive physical therapy
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Because of this, he will be unable to work for the foreseeable future, and possibly permanently. During this time, our family is focusing on supporting him through his recovery.
</div>

</div>
<div>If you are able, any contribution toward the medical expenses from his surgeries and ongoing care would mean so much to our family. But most importantly, we ask for your continued prayers, kind thoughts, and encouragement as he works toward healing ❤️
