Support Pass the Mic Climate

Pass the Mic Climate is working on a campaign with allied organisations for Global Day of Climate Action. Our goal is to pass the mic to frontline environmentalists, MAPA (most affected people and areas) activists and underrepresented voices in the climate movement.


On Friday March 19th 2020, we hope to facilitate takeovers, lives, panels and posts on influential accounts to spotlight climate activists and shed light on the global climate movement. In the week leading up to March 19th, we will be sharing content and programming which spotlights activists and campaigns, galvanises momentum and ways to get involved.


We believe that the climate cause is a communication cause, and that it is of utmost importance to make sure that we are spotlighting those on the frontlines and those whose communities and voices will be hardest hit by the impact of the climate crisis. Our goal is one of equity, justice, collaboration and compensation. We are hoping to partner with allied organisations, individuals and brands who believe in passing the mic, valuing the time and labour of activists, and showing solidarity on Global Day of Climate Action.
