<div><strong>I’m creating this GoFundMe to support a dear friend, Pam Monostra, and her husband during one of the hardest moments of their lives.</strong>

<div>She was recently given a hard diagnosis and will soon brave a major surgery that requires 8–12 weeks of recovery. During this time, she will be unable to work. Unfortunately, Pam had just started a new nursing job shortly before her diagnosis, which means she does not have any paid time off or medical leave. Her entire recovery period will be unpaid.

<div>As you can imagine, the financial stress of lost income—on top of medical bills, daily expenses, and the emotional toll of fighting to live—is overwhelming. Pam would never ask for anything from anyone; she is always the first to step up to help others both in her professional and personal life. Pam is a wonderful wife, friend, nurse, and Burn sister.
