<div>On August 1st Pam was rushed to the ER in Broken Bow after suffering a massive brain bleed. She was immediately transferred to Grand Island St. Francis Hospital, where she underwent urgent brain surgery that same afternoon. The procedure was successful, but the damage was significant, and her journey to recovery began under the most challenging circumstances.

<div>In the days following surgery, Pam was placed on a ventilator. Even in those difficult moments, she found ways to communicate—using sign language to let her family and doctors know when something was wrong. Her strength and determination have been nothing short of inspiring.

<div>Thanks to daily physical therapy, Pam has made encouraging progress. She is now breathing on her own, speaking some, and able to eat soft foods. However, her left side remains unresponsive, and she has developed blood clots in her left arm due to the lack of movement. Later this week, Pam is expected to be transferred to a long term care/rehab facility to continue her healing journey.(undetermined at this time)

<div>This road will be long, and the challenges ahead are many. I have started this fundraiser to help Pam and the Marten family with the costs of travel, gas, ongoing rehabilitation, and the mounting medical expenses that come with such an unexpected crisis and any help would be greatly appreciated.
